Dashboard compares coal, pellet cost per MWh to model carbon tax impact

A new dashboard from FutureMetrics uses the actual historical prices of thermal coal and an assumed cost for pellet fuel (white, steam exploded, or torrefied) to compare the cost per MWh of generating power using coal and pellets.

The user can then apply a carbon tax and experiment with its impact on the cost of coal generation versus pellet fuel generation.
